Admissions

Admissions Policy The following guidelines may help you to decide if you should apply for admission to CCS:

For families desiring to enroll a student in the school for grades K - 8, it is a requirement that at least one parent/guardian have a Christian testimony of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ and be willing to agree to and sign the Columbus Christian School Statement of Faith. After completing an application which includes the parent’s written testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, a parent interview with the Administrator will be arranged.

All applications must be approved by the CCS School Board. In some cases, an entrance test is required. No applicant will be seriously considered as a prospective student who has had a serious scholastic or discipline problems. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin.

The student must have a sincere desire for a Christian education and must be willing to submit to the standards and regulations of the school.

Parent(s) must agree with the Declaration of Faith for Lincoln Christian School. The student must have a sincere desire for a Christian education and must be willing to submit to the standards and regulations of the school.
Family Referral Program In order to help introduce new families (or previous families of K-8 students who attended CCS over 4 years ago) to the school, Columbus Christian is offering a tuition discount scale.
  • $650 for one student
  • $900 for two students
  • $1200 for 3 or more students

The discount will be prorated if the family does not attend the full school year. In addition, a $75.00 registration discount is given for one student.

Registration

Parents desiring to place their child(ren) into CCS should notify the school office and request the necessary forms.

The school office will then supply the necessary application forms along with a packet of statements and policies. The parents will be required to complete the forms and submit them to the school along with the appropriate registration and book fees. Applications are not considered complete without the registration fees.

Upon receiving the application forms and registration fees, the administrator will call and set up a family interview. It is ideal if both parents and the prospective student can be in attendance.

The school board will then review the application, and a letter of acceptance (or non-acceptance) will be sent to the parents as soon as possible.
