Tuition Schedule 2009-2010
The tuition is determined by the Columbus Christian School Board on a year-to-year basis. Every attempt is
made to see that the resources God gives us are used effectively and efficiently.
New Student Discount
In order to help introduce new families (or previous families of K-8 students who attended CCS over 4 years ago) to the school, Columbus Christian is offering a tuition discount scale.
- $650 for one student
- $900 for two students
- $1200 for 3 or more students

Referral Discount
A $250.00 discount will be given to current CCS families for each new K-8 family they refer. New families must be accepted to CCS to receive the referral discount.

Financial Assistance
Columbus Christian School offers a Tuition Assistance Program as well as participates in the Children’s
Scholarship Fund Program. Please contact the business office for additional information concerning financial
assistance.
Registration Fees
Registration fees are due upon enrollment and are not refundable unless a new student is not accepted to CCS.

Tuition Payment Options
CCS families with students in grades K-8th may choose one of three types of payment plan:
Kindergarten through 8th Grade
- Payment in full (5% discount if paid in full by July 31st).
- 10-month (First payment due August 1st and last payment due May 1st).
- 12-month (First payment due June 1st and last payment due May 1st).
Preschool Payment Options
- Payment in full (no prepayment discount)
- 10-month (first payment due August 1st and last payment due May 1st)
Preschool Registration Fee (due at enrollment)
- $30 per student (non-refundable)

Fees related to student/classroom activities and field trips may be assessed throughout the year.
- Tuition Account Statements are mailed or emailed by the 15th of the month for the following month’s tuition. In order to assure good stewardship, we would like to e-mail statements whenever possible.
- Students enrolling after August 1st will have their tuition divided by the number of months remaining in the school year with the final payment due on May 1st.
- Tuition payments are due by the first of each month. All payments received after the 10th of the month will incur a $10.00 per student late fee (maximum of $30.00).
- If payments should become over one month in arrears, students will not be admitted to class until arrangements have been made with the school administration.
- A $10.00 fee will be charged for checks returned for non-sufficient funds. All future payments will require cash (exact amount), money order or cashier’s check.
- Tuition checks are payable to Columbus Christian School. Because of security reasons, we prefer that accounts not be paid in cash. Mail checks to Columbus Christian School, P.O. Box 924, Columbus, NE 68602-0924 or drop off in the school office.
